flirtano GmbH is the operator of the website and the responsible authority for the protection of personal data within the meaning of data privacy laws. We observe the strict provisions of German and European data privacy law.

1. Data collection for the use of the website

You decide personally to whom to provide your contact details. You can use the settings in your user account to set whether or not your profile is displayed to other members.

6. Protection of personal data

We employ extensive technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data from unauthorized access. We prevent security breaches which could lead to the misuse of user data by regularly testing and verifying our hardware and software. Employees only have access to your personal data if needed to perform their tasks, and only to the extent required in each instance.

7. Verification of personal data

Although the provider is not legally bound to do so, we use various automated monitoring tools as well as our customer service to analyze randomly selected activities on the platform and check customer-entered information for plausibility. Certain strings or logins by different members which e.g. appear to originate from a single computer may result in the blocking of suspicious activities.

We compare posts written by members against a list of words and check for compliance with applicable law as well as the general terms and conditions of business. For example, pornographic or clearly abusive words are automatically checked against posts written by customers. We also try to protect our members from scammers by using what are known as anti-scamming scans.

The provider is entitled to prevent the posting of messages if the verification process indicates there is a high probability that the relevant message is unlawful and/or violates the general terms and conditions of business. In such cases, no notification is provided of rejected or non-posted messages.

8. Use of cookies

The provider uses what are known as "cookies" to personalize and optimize your visit to our platform. 11. Revocation of consent, deletion and correction of data
